Community Umpiring Events a Huge Success
Wellington Hockey recently hosted Community and Junior Badge Umpiring Courses at Maidstone Park and NHS, with 48 participants taking their first steps toward becoming accredited umpires. A JUMP Development Day also saw a great turnout of junior umpires, combining practical and theory sessions led by experienced mentors.

The Wellington U16 Boys received their playing shirts from local Wellington Representative Player Graeme Murrell, who spoke about the pride of representing the region. The team now travel to New Plymouth for the LNI U16 Tournament.

Wellington U18 Teams Set to Compete at National Tournament
Wellington Hockey U18 Men’s and Women’s teams are set to compete at the National U18 Tournament from 29 June to 5 July. The Men’s team will compete in Timaru, while the Women’s Gold and Black teams will play in North Harbour. The teams celebrated their shirt presentations this week and are proudly supported by sponsor AccountantsPlus.
