In-Season Development Programme
The Wellington Hockey U16 In-Season Development Programme is designed for players in Years 9–11 looking to continue developing their hockey throughout the season in a fun, supportive, and challenging environment.
Whether you're aiming to grow your skills for school hockey, club hockey, or future representative opportunities, this programme provides quality coaching and game-based learning throughout the season.

Who Can Register?
The U16 In-Season Development Programme is open to:

Players in Years 9–11
-
Players under the age of 16 as at 1 January 2026

Players wanting to further develop their hockey skills throughout the season
Please note:
Players selected into the Wellington Hockey U16 National Programme are not eligible for the In-Season Development Programme.

Programme Cost
The registration cost for the U16 In-Season Development Programme is:
$260 per player

Programme Structure
The programme combines technical training sessions with game-based development opportunities across the season.
Sessions are delivered across multiple hub locations to improve accessibility for players throughout the Wellington region.
