Their selection is a proud achievement for Wellington Hockey and recognition of their dedication, talent and commitment to representing New Zealand on the world stage.

Introduce your child to hockey with Wellington Hockey's Term 3 Funsticks programme! Designed for Years 1 and 2, Funsticks offers a fun, engaging introduction to the game with sessions running across five locations throughout the Wellington region.

Due to the current weather conditions across the Wellington region, all Junior Hockey fixtures scheduled for Saturday 27 June have been cancelled. All Open Grade fixtures are currently proceeding as scheduled.

Wellington Hockey has honoured two of the region's most influential figures, Dayle Jackson and Peter Miskimmin, by naming its Premier Challenge Shields in their recognition. The initiative celebrates their extraordinary contributions to hockey while adding greater history and prestige to the weekly Premier One competition.

Four Wellington Hockey officials have earned appointments to the 2026 National Under-18 Tournaments, with Josh McDougall, Max Wallace and Jack Campbell heading to Tauranga and Ashley Hanaray selected for Palmerston North. Max and Jack will make their National U18 debuts.
