Keep the hockey going this Term 4 with Wellington Hockey’s U11 SPRING into Development Programme, with registrations now open for 2026.
Designed for players aged 9–11 years, the programme is a great opportunity for young hockey players to take the next step in their development after the junior season. Across six Friday sessions, players will build their individual skills, confidence and understanding of the game in a fun and supportive environment.
Sessions will focus on key skills including ball control, passing, receiving and eliminating, with plenty of game-based activities and challenges to put those skills into practice. The programme finishes with the U11 Development Festival on Sunday 29 November, giving players the chance to showcase what they have developed.
The programme runs on Fridays from 23 October to 27 November, with sessions planned across the National Hockey Stadium, Elsdon Park, Fraser Park and Kapiti, subject to registration numbers.
