In-Season Development Programme
The Wellington Hockey U13 In-Season Development Programme is designed for Year 7 & 8 players wanting to continue building their hockey skills in a fun, supportive, and engaging environment throughout the season.
Whether players are new to hockey or already developing their game further, this programme provides additional coaching, game-based learning, and opportunities to continue growing confidence on and off the turf.

Who Can Register?
The U13 In-Season Development Programme is open to:

Year 7 & 8 players

Players under the age of 13 as at 1 January 2026

Players of all playing abilities and experience levels

Players wanting additional development opportunities
This programme is designed to support players at all stages of their hockey journey and provides an inclusive environment focused on development and enjoyment.
No representative experience is required to participate.

Programme Cost
The registration cost for the U16 In-Season Development Programme is:
$260 per player

Programme Structure
The U13 In-Season Development Programme combines technical training sessions with game-based development opportunities across the season.

To help make the programme accessible for players across the region, hub-based sessions will be delivered at multiple locations throughout Wellington.
Players will select their preferred hub location during registration.

Players participating in the U13 In-Season Development Programme will also have the opportunity to attend the Lower North Island Festival later in the season.
