Funsticks is an exciting 8-week hockey programme for children aged 5-6 (Years 1 & 2), designed to introduce them to the sport in a fun, supportive environment. Running from May 3rd to June 28th across multiple locations, the programme focuses on developing fundamental movement skills and building confidence through play.

The After School Hockey Club (ASHC) is back for Term 1, 2025! Open to Years 1–6, this six-week programme welcomes new and returning players to develop their hockey skills, stay active, and make friends in a fun, supportive environment. With sessions across four Wellington hubs and a bonus "Bring a Friend" day, it’s the perfect way to try hockey or build on existing skills.

The U11 Hockey Festival at Fraser Park brought together players from our NHS, Fraser, Elsdon Hubs along with Wairarapa for a sunny day of fun, friendly competition, and skillful play. Wellington Hockey thanks everyone who contributed to this successful event, celebrating the growth and development of our young athletes.
