Wellington Hockey is excited to announce that registrations are now open for the 2026/27 Under 16 and Under 18 Indoor Hockey Representative Programme!
Whether you're an experienced indoor hockey player or looking to try something new, this is a great opportunity to develop your skills, challenge yourself and be part of an exciting representative programme.
What is Indoor Hockey?
Indoor hockey is a fast-paced variation of traditional field hockey, played on a smaller indoor court with six players per team, including a goalkeeper. With boards keeping the ball in play and different rules around hitting and lifting the ball, the indoor game focuses on quick passing, close control, teamwork and fast decision-making.
It's a great way to sharpen your hockey skills, improve your technical ability and enjoy a different style of the game. No previous indoor hockey experience is required to attend trials!
