Registrations are now open for Wellington Hockey’s After School Hockey Club, returning in Term 1, 2026 with fun, skills-focused sessions for players in Years 1–6. Join us across multiple venues for six weeks of learning, activity and confidence-building on the turf with lots of FUN!

U11 Spring into Development Programme – Registrations Now Open

The U11 Spring into Development Programme runs from 12 October to 30 November, offering eight weeks of skill-building sessions across four HUBs. For $155, participants will receive quality coaching, an exclusive t-shirt, and finish the programme with a fun festival day to showcase their skills.

Registrations are now open for Term 4 of the After School Hockey Club, a six-week programme running across five hubs in the Wellington region. Designed for Years 1–6, the club offers a fun mix of skills, small games, and social connection to keep kids active after school.

Registrations Open for 2025 U13 & U15 In-Season Development Programme

Wellington Hockey is excited to open registrations for the 2025 In-Season Development Programme for U13 and U15 players, providing a fun and supportive training opportunity focused on skill development, game understanding, and preparing athletes that wish to attend the Lower North Island Festival or Tournament later in the year. Sessions begin in July and run across multiple locations around the region.

The Explore programme provided Year 7-8 athletes in Kāpiti and at NHS with a great start to the hockey season, focusing on skill development in small group settings. Over six weeks, players regained their touch, built confidence, and showed impressive growth.

Funsticks is an exciting 8-week hockey programme for children aged 5-6 (Years 1 & 2), designed to introduce them to the sport in a fun, supportive environment. Running from May 3rd to June 28th across multiple locations, the programme focuses on developing fundamental movement skills and building confidence through play.
