The Explore Programme supports Year 7–8 athletes to build hockey skills ahead of the season.

The Explore programme has been an outstanding success over the past six weeks, giving young athletes a fantastic head start for the season ahead.


This programme, aimed at Year 7-8 athletes, was a perfect way to ease back into the hockey season. Across both Kāpiti and NHS, participants worked to regain their touch and start building the essential skills they’ll need for the upcoming season. After focusing on individual skill development in small group settings, it was amazing to witness significant growth in all aspects of their game!

Masters Teams Deliver Strong National Results

Our Masters teams delivered an outstanding week at the National Tournament, proudly fielding four women’s and six men’s sides, including our first ever Women’s 60s team. With two gold medals, two silvers and a number of strong top four finishes, it was a week that showcased the strength and spirit of our Masters community.
