Nominations are now open for the 2025 Community Hockey Awards, recognising the coaches, officials, administrators, and volunteers who make hockey happen in our community. Save the date for the Wellington Hockey Awards Evening on 15 October 2025.

The U11 Spring into Development Programme runs from 12 October to 30 November, offering eight weeks of skill-building sessions across four HUBs. For $155, participants will receive quality coaching, an exclusive t-shirt, and finish the programme with a fun festival day to showcase their skills.

Registrations are now open for Term 4 of the After School Hockey Club, a six-week programme running across five hubs in the Wellington region. Designed for Years 1–6, the club offers a fun mix of skills, small games, and social connection to keep kids active after school.

Wellington is proud to host the 2025 Federation Cup & Marie Fry Trophy, bringing together 32 of the top female secondary school teams from across Aotearoa for an exciting week of hockey at the National Hockey Stadium. The 2025 Sporting Edge Premier Finals wrapped up under the lights at the National Hockey Stadium last Friday, with four schools lifting titles in front of a packed crowd.

The Sporting Edge Premier 1 and Premier 2 Secondary School Competition Finals take place this Friday, 22 August, at the National Hockey Stadium. With four exciting finals lined up, supporters can look forward to top-quality hockey, strong school pride, and an electric atmosphere. All matches will be streamed live on HockeyTV, and the full draw is available on PlayHQ.

The 2025 Open Grade Competition wrapped up with thrilling finals, close results, and an incredible atmosphere at NHS. Congratulations to our champions and a big thank you to the players, supporters, and officials who made the season such a success!
