Wellington Hockey has named the teams that will compete at the 2025 National Hockey Championship.

Wellington Hockey is proud to announce the players selected to represent the region at the 2025 National Hockey Championship, to be held in Christchurch from 14–20 September.


Four teams will take the turf in Wellington colours:

  • Polytan Wellington Men

  • Quinovic Wellington Women

  • Wellington Men B

  • Wellington Women B


We congratulate all players and team management on their selection. This is a fantastic achievement and an opportunity to showcase Wellington hockey talent on the national stage. We wish all four teams the very best of luck for a successful tournament.

Our Masters teams delivered an outstanding week at the National Tournament, proudly fielding four women’s and six men’s sides, including our first ever Women’s 60s team. With two gold medals, two silvers and a number of strong top four finishes, it was a week that showcased the strength and spirit of our Masters community.
