
The 2025 Sporting Edge Premier Finals delivered an exciting night of hockey under the lights at the National Hockey Stadium last Friday, with a packed crowd creating an incredible atmosphere to close out the Secondary School season.
Finals Results
Premier 1 Boys: Silverstream College claimed the title after defeating Wellington College 3–1 in a shootout, following a 1–1 draw at the end of regulation.
Premier 1 Girls: Wellington Girls’ College secured victory with a 2–0 win over Queen Margaret College.
Premier 2 Boys: Aotea College put in a commanding performance, taking an 8–2 win over Kāpiti College.
Premier 2 Girls: Scots College edged out SHC/Chilton 4–3 in a tense, high-scoring final.

Masters Teams Deliver Strong National Results
Our Masters teams delivered an outstanding week at the National Tournament, proudly fielding four women’s and six men’s sides, including our first ever Women’s 60s team. With two gold medals, two silvers and a number of strong top four finishes, it was a week that showcased the strength and spirit of our Masters community.
