Wellington Hockey recently hosted its April School Holiday Programme, bringing together young players for two days focused on developing fundamental skills through a mix of engaging, game-based activities.
The programme provided a great balance of learning and enjoyment, with participants building their confidence and understanding of the game in a supportive environment. Each session was packed with action, giving players plenty of opportunities to stay active and involved throughout the school holidays.
The programme concluded with a World Cup-style tournament, adding a fun and competitive edge to the final day. Australia emerged as the overall winners, capping off an enjoyable finish to the event.
Wellington Hockey would like to thank all participants, coaches, and parents for their involvement and support in making the programme a success.
