Whether mentoring new umpires, delivering education opportunities, or officiating across community and representative hockey, his leadership, professionalism and commitment have helped strengthen officiating throughout the Wellington region.

Max's dedication to creating a positive environment for officials and players alike has made him a valued member of the hockey community, and this nomination is a fitting acknowledgement of the time and effort he invests in the sport.
