Wellington Hockey celebrates Julia Gluyas, Riana Pho and Finn Ward on their selection in the 2026 Vantage Black Sticks World Cup squads

Wellington Hockey is proud to congratulate Julia Gluyas, Riana Pho and Finn Ward on their selection in the Vantage Black Sticks squads for the 2026 FIH Hockey World Cup.


The tournament will be held in Belgium and the Netherlands from 15–30 August, with the trio earning the opportunity to represent New Zealand on the world stage at hockey's premier international event.


Their selection is a testament to their hard work, dedication and outstanding performances at both domestic and international level. Wellington Hockey is incredibly proud to see three members of our community wearing the black jersey and wishes Julia, Riana and Finn every success as they prepare for the World Cup.
