Wellington Hockey is proud to congratulate Riana Pho and Kate Fraser on their selection in the Future Black Sticks U21 Women’s team for the upcoming FIH Junior World Cup in Santiago, Chile (1–13 December 2025).
Both players have shown outstanding commitment and performance throughout their hockey journeys, earning the opportunity to represent New Zealand on the international stage. The women’s side will take on USA, Korea, and Uruguay in pool play, with preparations including an international tour to Japan in October.
This selection is a testament to the hard work and dedication of Ri and Kate, and we know the Wellington hockey community will be cheering them on proudly as they wear the fern in Chile.
