
Wellington Hockey is now accepting registrations for players wishing to trial for the 2026 National Hockey Championship (NHC).
This year's tournament will be hosted in Wellington from 13–19 September at the National Hockey Stadium, with Wellington Hockey selecting two men's teams and two women's teams to compete.
Players interested in being considered for selection are invited to attend the trial sessions below:
Trial Dates
Wednesday 8 July | 7:00pm – 9:00pm
Monday 13 July | 7:00pm – 9:00pm
Wednesday 15 July | 7:00pm – 9:00pm
Check-in and self-directed warm-up will be available from 6:30pm each evening.
The National Hockey Championship brings together teams from around New Zealand and provides an opportunity for players to represent Wellington at the country's premier domestic tournament.
