Trials for Wellington Hockey U18 teams take place this Sunday.

We are looking forward to seeing you at the Wellington Hockey U18 Trials this Sunday, March 9th. If you’re intending to trial, please make sure you register on PlayHQ. Find below the key details to help you prepare for the day.


Sunday 9th March Trial Details

  • Location: National Hockey Stadium

  • Check-in from 8:30 AM – Sign in, collect your bib, and warm up.


Preparation & What to Bring

  • Arrive early to check in and warm up properly.

  • Bring plenty of water and any nutrition you may need.

  • Ensure you have the correct gear – stick, shin guards, mouthguard, and turf-appropriate footwear.

  • Be ready to compete, work hard, and give it your best effort!


Upcoming Trial Dates

  • Wednesday 12th March – 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM

  • Wednesday 19th March – 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM (U18 Only)

  • Wednesday 26th March – 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM (U16 Only)

Masters Teams Deliver Strong National Results

Our Masters teams delivered an outstanding week at the National Tournament, proudly fielding four women’s and six men’s sides, including our first ever Women’s 60s team. With two gold medals, two silvers and a number of strong top four finishes, it was a week that showcased the strength and spirit of our Masters community.
