We’re excited to welcome tamariki back to our After School Hockey Club, running again this Term 4 across five hubs in the Wellington region.
This six-week programme is all about making hockey accessible, fun, and rewarding. It’s designed to give children the chance to:
Learn the basics – from dribbling and passing to teamwork and positioning.
Play small-sided games that encourage involvement and plenty of touches on the ball.
Build confidence and friendships in a supportive environment.
Stay active in a fun, social way at the end of the school day.
Our sessions are led by passionate and experienced coaches who know how to make learning enjoyable for all ages and stages. Whether your child is brand new to the sport or already plays on the weekend, the After School Hockey Club is a great way to continue developing skills while having fun with their friends.
Registrations are now open on PlayHQ.
