Wellington Hockey confirms Saturday fixtures will proceed despite temporary travel disruption. Teams must notify WHA if unable to travel.

Wellington Hockey advises that due to ongoing weather conditions and the inability for teams to travel safely, all matches at Fraser Park have now been deferred.


The following additional matches have also been deferred:

  • NHS 2 – 4:00pm: Island Bay vs Naenae 1 Women

  • NHS 1 – 4:45pm: Naenae 1 Men vs WISC Randwick

  • NHS 3 – 4:00pm: Upper Hutt P3 Women vs Harbour City Women 3


These matches have been updated in PlayHQ as abandoned.


All other scheduled matches will proceed at this stage. Wellington Hockey will continue to monitor conditions and manage any further impacts on a game-by-game basis.


Wellington Hockey will work with the clubs affected by these deferments on Monday to confirm next steps.

Wellington Hockey is aware of some temporary traffic disruption across the region due to current weather conditions and has reviewed all available information to determine the status of matches scheduled for Saturday 18 April.


At this stage, all matches will proceed as scheduled, unless teams are unable to safely travel to their venue. Teams who are impacted and unable to travel must notify Wellington Hockey as soon as possible by calling 04 389 3337.


Wellington Hockey will continue to monitor the situation closely and will provide further updates should any changes be required.


Please note that both matches scheduled in the Wairarapa have been deferred, with further details to be communicated directly to affected clubs on Monday.
