Wellington Hockey is seeking enthusiastic and committed coaches to support our Term 1 Junior Programmes and help build develop our next generation of players. Opportunities are available across the U12s Programme, After School Hockey Club, and Introduction to 11-a-side Hockey.

We’re pleased to announce the coaching staff for Wellington’s four NHC teams heading to the 2025 National Hockey Championships in Christchurch.

Wellington Hockey hosted an FIH Level 1 Coaching Course led by Emma Phelps and James Birkfield, featuring engaging discussions and practical turf sessions. The course showcased strong regional interest in developing coaching skills across the community.

Wellington Hockey is hosting an FIH Academy Level 1 Coaching Course on 11 May at the National Hockey Stadium. Expressions of interest are now open, with limited spaces available.

Wellington Hockey is seeking passionate coaches and managers for our 2025 representative teams heading to national and invitational tournaments.
