Wellington Hockey is excited to announce that applications are now being accepted for coaches and managers for our representative teams attending national and invitational tournaments in 2025.
We’re looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to help guide our representative teams through the upcoming hockey season. Whether you’re an experienced coach or manager or keen to take on a new challenge, we encourage you to apply.
Interested candidates can submit their applications through PlayHQ. We will review all submissions and contact applicants in early February to discuss next steps. Registrations are now open for officials for the 2026 season across Open Grade and Secondary School competitions. Opportunities are available both on the field and in Match Official and Judging roles.

2026 U18 Representative Trial Registrations Now Open
Registrations are now open for the 2026 U18 Representative Trials, with open trials taking place in late March at the National Hockey Stadium. Players are invited to register via PlayHQ and trial for the opportunity to represent Wellington at U18 Nationals.

Wellington Hockey has completed its 2025/26 Officials Development Project, shaped by strong input from the officiating community to help strengthen and future-proof officiating across the region. As the 2026 season begins, the focus will be on improving support, communication, and development opportunities for officials at all levels.
