Summer Hockey is back for 2026, bringing two action-packed formats to keep players active, connected, and enjoying the game through the warmer months. Whether you’re after fast-paced six-a-side or the full eleven-a-side experience, we’ve got a competition for you.


Summer Super Sixes

Tuesdays | All Venues | Starts 27 January 2026

Our most popular summer format returns across the Wellington region. Super Sixes is perfect for players who want a high-tempo, social, and fun summer run-around with friends or clubmates.


Key Information:

  • 6-week competition

  • Social, Family, and Premier divisions

  • Short, fast matches starting from approx. 6.45pm

  • Great pre-season fitness and an easy way to keep a stick in hand over summer

  • $265 per team


Classic Elevens

Wednesdays | National Hockey Stadium (Fraser Park as overflow) | Starts 28 January 2026

Prefer the traditional game? Classic Elevens offers a full-field format with two grades available. With limited spots, this competition fills fast.


Key Information:

  • 6-week competition

  • Two competitive grades

  • First match begins at approx. 6.45pm

  • Ideal for teams wanting structured match play ahead of winter pre-season

  • $515 per team

Masters Teams Deliver Strong National Results

Our Masters teams delivered an outstanding week at the National Tournament, proudly fielding four women’s and six men’s sides, including our first ever Women’s 60s team. With two gold medals, two silvers and a number of strong top four finishes, it was a week that showcased the strength and spirit of our Masters community.
