Introduction to 11-a-side
A programme designed to give Year 9 players the opportunity to develop an understanding for full field hockey before the season.
Ready for Full Field Hockey?
We’re excited to launch a brand-new programme designed for Year 9 students who are new to full-field, 11-a-side hockey. This programme will help you build confidence and understanding of the game, covering everything from rules and positioning to the core fundamentals of full-field play. It’s more than just turf time! Alongside practical sessions, you’ll take part in interactive whiteboard discussions to deepen your knowledge and develop a clear picture of how the game works. We will also provide plenty of game time in these sessions to put your learning into action! This is a 4 week programme every Friday from 5:30pm to 7:30pm starting on 6 March and ending on 27 March.
Programme Information
Year 9's (ages 12-14) who are fresh to full field Hockey and are wanting to learn the basic fundamentals to it!
This programme will be run in Term 1 on Friday afternoons.

Where: National Hockey Stadium, Wellington
$70 per child for four x 2hr sessions.
