Wellington Hockey officials have returned from the Masters World Cup after officiating internationally.

Wellington Hockey is pleased to welcome home our hardworking officials who are just back from the Masters World Cup held recently in North Harbour.

2024 WC Auckland involved 129 teams / 23 countries / 2,500+ players / 7 pitches / 10 days.

Our officials had long days, sometimes umpiring or supporting games at 8:00am in the morning and still needing to perform during the 8:30pm games! But they were always spotted sporting big smiles!

It was great to see our local people getting such high quality international opportunities and no doubt the exposure at this level of competition will have benefits for our local competitions in the new year.

Congratulations - we look forward to seeing those bright rainbow shirts on display in some of the preseason masters games coming up.
