
Wellington Hockey is pleased to confirm the trial dates for the 2026 U18 Representative Teams. These trials are open to eligible players who are seeking the opportunity to represent Wellington at the U18 National Tournaments in July.
The U18 programme provides a high-quality development and performance environment, supporting players as they continue their representative pathway within Wellington Hockey.

Trial 1 – Open Trial

9:00am – 12:00pm
Trial 2 – Open Trial
Wednesday 25 March
National Hockey Stadium
6:30pm – 8:30pm
Trial 3 – Invitation Only
Monday 30 March
National Hockey Stadium
6:30pm – 8:30pm
Trial 4 – Invitation Only
Wednesday 1 April
National Hockey Stadium
6:30pm – 8:30pm
Players are encouraged to attend both open trials where possible to give selectors the best opportunity to view performance across multiple sessions.
Important Eligibility Information
These trials are for U18 players only.
Players should note that if they are selected for the U18 National Tournament team, and are under 16, they cannot play at the U16 National Tournament in October.
The 2026 National U18 Tournaments will be held in Tauranga (Boys) and Palmerston North (Girls) from 5-11 July.

All players intending to trial must register via PlayHQ as this helps Wellington Hockey plan effectively for the trial process.
