WHA Umpire Steven Dyhrberg Appointed to World Masters Hockey Committee

Wellington Hockey is proud to congratulate Steven Dyhrberg on his appointment to the World Masters Hockey (WMH) Officiating Committee, with a two-year term commencing on 1 January 2026.

Steven has been selected following an extensive global Expression of Interest and interview process and will serve as part of the Umpiring Team within the expanded WMH Officiating Committee structure. His appointment recognises his experience, leadership, and ongoing contribution to officiating at both national and international levels.

In addition to his committee role, Steven has also been appointed as the WMH Officiating Committee representative to the WMH World Cup Organising Committee for the 2026 World Cup, to be hosted in Belgium and the Netherlands. This role will see him contribute directly to the planning and delivery of one of WMH’s flagship international events.

Steven is a local Wellington Hockey umpire and a valued member of our Officials Advisory Group. We look forward to seeing the knowledge and expertise he can bring back into our local officiating community through this international appointment.

Wellington Hockey congratulates Steven on this well-deserved appointment and wishes him every success in this exciting new role.
