The 2025 U13 Festival in Whanganui has officially come to a close after three days of action-packed hockey, great energy, and plenty of smiles both on and off the turf. Wellington Hockey was proudly represented with eight teams and nine junior officials.
The festival atmosphere shone through, rain or shine, with families, friends, and supporters creating a positive environment that celebrated the game and the players.
A huge thank you goes out to Hockey Wanganui for hosting such a well-run festival, and to our coaches, managers, players, and supporters who made the trip. We also want to acknowledge Life Flight for the sharp new uniforms that helped our Wellington teams look the part on the field.
We are grateful to everyone who played a role in making the festival such a success and look forward to seeing our young athletes continue their hockey journeys.
You can find photos of the festival on our Facebook page!
