Wellington Hockey and the Wellington Dodgers will share the Fraser Park Pavilion as part of a collaborative facility arrangement.

In the spirit of collaboration, Wellington Hockey and the Hutt Valley Dodgers Softball Club will share the Fraser Park Hockey Pavilion this summer. The Dodgers having use of the Pavilion and kitchen, and both sports sharing the rest of the building.

This allows Softball a ‘home base’ near their main diamonds, and hockey to continue as it normally would over the summer months. You may notice some temporary Dodgers signage and memorabilia on display while they’re using the facility.

Importantly for us and our hockey participants, this arrangement does not affect access to the turfs or changing room facilities. The only change is that access to the changing rooms and toilets will be via the rear entrance during this period. We have made some upgrades to the exterior building locks which should ensure the changing rooms and toilets are open each evening.

This partnership is on a trial basis for six months, and we will review it at the end of the term. Your feedback is welcomed throughout the summer months on how this has worked.
