About the Tournament

The Vantage National Masters is Hockey New Zealand’s national tournament for players aged 35 and over. Teams compete in age groups and play across several days, with round robin or pool play matches followed by crossovers and finals.

Attending the Tournament

The 2026 National Masters tournament is being hosted by North Harbour Hockey at the North Harbour Hockey Association facility in Rosedale, Auckland. The event runs from 22 February to 28 February 2026 and brings together Masters teams from across New Zealand.


Venue Details

The tournament is based at 159 Bush Road, Rosedale, Auckland. Multiple turfs will be used for games named Cello 1, TigerTurf 2, Miller 3, Harbour 4 and Harbour 5.


For the first day of the tournament, some games will also be played at Westlake Girls High School in Takapuna, Auckland. Please check the official draw carefully to confirm which venue your match is scheduled at.


Parking

There are over 330 car parks available at the main gate (Gate A) near the northern end of the venue. Gate A has drop off zones and plenty of space for team vans. Parking marked as Car Park D is for North Harbour and Hockey New Zealand staff only. Vehicles parked there may be towed.


Clubhouse and Facilities

A clubhouse overlooking the main turfs will be operating throughout the tournament each day with food and drink available. There are multiple changing rooms, toilets and showers on site.


Medical and First Aid

First aid support will be available on site during the tournament. In case of more serious medical needs, nearby medical centres and hospitals in the North Shore area can be contacted. Refer to the tournament information available on North Harbour Hockey’s tournament website.

If you cannot make it in person, every match will be streamed live on HockeyTV, with a $15 tournament pass giving access to games across all five North Harbour turfs.
