Under 13 Development
Training to learn and explore the game. Athletes will learn the foundational principles of attack, defence and transition hockey in an 8 week programme.
Under 11 Development
Under 11 is the first age group that Wellington Hockey offers development opportunities for players and this is the start of their development journey.
Youth Development
Under 15 Development
Training to train and learning to compete. Athletes will see themselves to improve their technical skills and develop tactical understanding.
Yr 9 Introduction to 11-a-side
A two day camp designed to give Year 9 players the opportunity to develop an understanding for full field hockey before the season.
Building Hockey Players, From Start to Finish
Represent Wellington at National and Invitational Tournaments through our representative campaigns for U16, U18, U21, National Hockey Championship, and Masters. Our U13 and U15 teams participate in Regional Festivals and Tournaments as part of the Lower North Island, providing valuable opportunities for our junior players to develop and grow.
