Wellington Hockey is pleased to open registrations for Wellington U18 and U16 Rep teams for 2023. On the back our first full season of representative hockey in 2022, we look forward to our teams again competing on the national stage, with our age groups teams up first.
The U18 teams will travel to Auckland (girls) and Dunedin (boys) for the Vantage National U18 tournaments from 2nd - 8th July.
Our U16 teams will travel to Hamilton to compete in a Quad Tournament against other associations invited by Waikato Hockey. This tournament will see round robin games before finals on the last day. This tournament will run from 10th – 13th July. To be eligible you need to be 15 as at the 1st January 2023.
Trials will take place on Wednesday the 29th March & 5th April at NHS before squads will be named. Any player can self-nominate and trial for Wellington Rep teams.
Trainings for Rep squads and teams will be on Wednesday evenings at NHS throughout term 2, with scheduled sporadic Sunday games.
