Wellington Masters Teams Announced for 2025 Vantage Tournament in Whangarei

We are excited to announce the Wellington Masters teams set to compete at the 2025 Vantage Masters Tournament in Whangarei. The tournament, taking place from 23rd February to 1st March 2025, promises beautiful weather, world-class beaches, and some thrilling hockey action!


Wellington will field eight teams at the event, including five men's teams (Men's 35, Men's 45, Men's 50, Men's 55, Men's 65) and three women's teams (Women's 35, Women's 45, Women's 55).

The Wellington U16 and U18 Summer Development teams faced off against the visiting Canadian sides in an exciting night of hockey at NHS. The U16s secured a 4-1 win, while the U18s battled to a 3-3 draw before winning in a shootout.

Upcoming Under 21 Men & Women Trials

We're excited to announce the Wellington Under 21 Trials for both Men’s and Women’s teams heading to Christchurch for the Matariki Weekend (June 20th-23rd). Trials will take place on April 2nd and 9th from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the National Hockey Stadium, with more details sent to those who register closer to the trial.
