Training

Are the turfs open to be used now? 

Yes, the turfs at NHS, Elsdon, Fraser, and Maidstone are all open Under Alert Level 2 and the the weekend of the 11th and 12 of September 2021. Contact info@wellingtonhockey.org.nz if you have any questions

What is open at the facilities? 

Currently, the turfs are accessible with all other amenities like toilets, pavilion etc. WHA is working within the level 2 restrictions around its venues and contact tracing. 

What are the rules around trainings? 

There are restrictions in place aligned to the social gathering regulations at level 2, the key messages are:

  • keep your distance from other people in public

  • wash your hands

  • sneeze and cough into your elbow

  • keep a track of where you’ve been and who you’ve seen

  • wear a mask if you can.

Is contact tracing in place? 

Yes, we urge visitors to our facilities to sign in using the Ministry of Health Covid Tracer App and the signposted QR codes at all entrances to the turfs and pavilion.

If I require further information, who should I contact? 

In the first instance, contact your club/school, WHA is working hard to keep them well informed and updated and they should be in a position to help you. Otherwise, check the WHA website and lastly email the relevant staff member (see staff tab for roles and contacts).
