U16 trials will be held on Wednesday 3rd and 10th of April at the National Hockey Stadium. Please register to trial here. Registrations close on Tuesday 2nd April.
Trials will be held in March and April with training commencing at the end of April until the tournament in July.
In 2024 our U16 representative teams will travel to Hamilton to play other associations in a Quad Tournament hosted by Waikato Hockey. The tournament is held from Monday 15th July 2024 to Thursday 18th July 2024.
After the U18/U16 trials have been held, Wellington Hockey will announce the U16 training squads that will commence training in term 2, before selecting the final teams that will attend the tournament. Please note that a number of players can be added to the squad at any stage if they are still awaiting completion of their trial process. Players will need to complete two trial observations to be named in a squad. All players will be given every opportunity to be seen and communication will be sent directly to you via email.
