Wellington Hockey

Wellington Hockey are proud to announce that we are the recipients of a $15,000 grant from the Wellington City Council for Talent ID.

Wellington Hockey have developed three projects to make best use of this grant. They are:

Drag Flick Camp
GK Clinic
Future Stars Programme

The first Camp/Clinic will be held at the NHS on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th April.

Wellington Hockey are excited to announce that Hayden Shaw (Current BlackStick) will be attending the Drag Flick Camp as a consultant.

Wellington Hockey are also pleased to announce that Michael Bevan (Former BlackStick) will be attending the GK Clinic as a consultant.

As the Camp and Clinic will be run on a Saturday two open grade games will be shifted to Monday 21 April. This is regrettable but clearly the Camps and Clinics must take precedence.

The games affected are:

P1 Women – Hutt vs Karori. Moved to Monday 21 April 8.15pm NHS 1.
G7 Men -  Naenae vs Habour City. Moved to Monday 21 April 6.45pm NHS 1.

The sessions are:

Saturday 10.00 – 11.25 am
Saturday 1.15 – 2.40 pm

We invite all coaches, players and spectators to come along and watch these sessions.
