Wellington Hockey Association plays its outdoor competitions at five venues:

• National Hockey Stadium, 9 Mt Albert Road, Berhampore, Wellington
• Elsdon Turf, Elsdon Park, Titahi Bay Road, Porirua
• Fraser Park Turf, Fraser Park, Percy Cameron Drive, Lower Hutt
• Kapiti Multisport Arena, Mazengarb Road, Paraparaumu
• Clareville Turf, Chester Road, Clareville, Wairarapa

In addition the mini-hockey competitions are played at the following venues:

• 4-a-side - Wellington Indoor Sports Centre, Hall Street, Newtown
• 5-a-side - Wellington Indian Sports Centre, Kemp Street, Kilbirnie and Newlands Turf, Black Rock Road (Paparangi Tennis Club), Newlands
• 6-a-side - Wellington College Turf, 15 Dufferin St, Mt Victoria

6-a-side is also played at the Fraser Park Turf and 8-a-side competitions are held at the NHS Stadium and Fraser Park.
