Representative Coach Nomination Form 2011
2010 has been a great season thus far for the WHA representative programme, if are keen to be part of the 2011 season and help take Wellington Hockey through to an even more successful year then please fill in the following nomination form.
Nominations includes coaching from U11b through to U21 men and womens teams. Nominations for the 2011 season will close on the 15th October 2010.

SPARC Volunteer Coaches
Grassroots sport would not be possible without the legions of volunteer coaches throughout NZ donating their free time to coach, manage and inspire their teams.
Last year you were one of thousands of New Zealanders who used the SPARC Volunteers Coach Awards to acknowledge and thank a volunteer coach for the great contribution they made in your community.
In 2010 many of these same volunteer coaches (and new ones) are out there putting in even more volunteer hours. Be sure to thank them again by nominating them in the SPARC Volunteer Coach Awards 2010.

Each coach nominated coach receives a letter of thanks;goes into a draw to win one of 17 $100 sports vouchers; and is considered for a 2010 regional award title. A regional title will secure the coach a generous supply of Wattie's product, coaching apparel from SPARC, and one winning coach from your region will also win a national coach development opportunity with SPARC. The opportunity will take place over a weekend in 2011 and will include development workshops and attendance at a significant sporting event, with travel and accommodation paid for by SPARC.
Coaches can be nominated in three catergories - student, general or lifetime. The studen category is open to school aged coaches, while the lifetime category is for people have devoted 25 years or more to coaching. The general category is for all other community coaches.
The SPARC Volunteer Coach Awards are open to all non-paid, volunteer coaches including club coaches, school coaches and anyone coaching at a non-representative level.

Nominations close at midnight on 8 september 2010 - so make your nominations now and be sure to forward details to the SPARC Volunteer Awards to your teammates, friends and family.
